Pay With Confidence

How to Pay for Your Egypt Tour

Clear payment steps, secure methods and transparent booking terms for your journey through Egypt.

Simple and Transparent

Confirming your Egypt journey

Once your itinerary, price and travel dates are agreed, payment allows Book Egypt Travel to begin securing the services included in your confirmed proposal.

Your quotation will explain the total price, included services, payment schedule, cancellation conditions and any special supplier terms. Please review these details carefully before making a payment.

50%

At confirmation

A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required to begin securing the agreed services.

50%

60 days before arrival

The remaining 50% balance must be received no later than two months before your arrival date.

Bookings made within 60 days

If your booking is confirmed less than 60 days before arrival, full payment may be required immediately unless a different written schedule appears in your quotation.

Why advance payment is required

  • Hotels, Nile cruises and dahabiyas often require deposits or full prepayment to secure rooms and cabins.
  • Domestic flights, special events and some activities may be ticketed or confirmed on non-refundable terms.
  • Availability can change until the required payment is received and suppliers reconfirm the booking.

Important: sending a quotation does not by itself guarantee availability. Your booking becomes confirmed only after the required payment is received and Book Egypt Travel issues written confirmation.

Payment Methods

Choose the method that works for you

Book Egypt Travel currently accepts secure card payment and bank transfer. Your quotation or invoice will identify the currency, amount due and payment deadline.

Cards

Credit or debit card

  • Visa and Mastercard payments can be completed through the secure payment link supplied for your booking.
  • A 2% card-processing fee is added to card payments.
  • Complete the transaction only on the secure page opened by the official payment link.
  • Your bank may apply foreign transaction, currency conversion or security verification procedures.
  • Do not send full card details, PIN numbers or one-time passwords by email, WhatsApp or contact form.
Bank

Bank transfer

  • Bank transfer is available using the account details shown on your official invoice or sent directly by Book Egypt Travel.
  • Use the booking reference and lead traveler’s name as the payment reference whenever possible.
  • Send the transfer confirmation so our team can match the payment to your booking.
  • International transfers can take several business days to arrive. Please allow enough time before the deadline.
  • Any sender, intermediary or receiving-bank charges should be checked before transfer so the required booking amount is received.

For your security, bank details are shared privately — not displayed on the public website.

Cash payments: cash should not be presented as a standard online booking method. If a specific balance or local service is approved for cash payment, the arrangement must be confirmed in writing in advance and an official receipt should be provided.

Step by Step

How the payment process works

A clear process protects your booking and ensures that every payment can be identified and confirmed correctly.

Approve the itinerary

Confirm the final program, travel dates, guest details, price and service level in writing.

Receive your invoice

Check the company name, booking reference, passenger name, amount, currency and payment deadline.

Select a method

Choose the secure card link or the bank-transfer instructions supplied for your booking.

Verify the request

If anything looks different or unexpected, contact us through a previously verified channel before paying.

Complete payment

Pay the exact invoiced amount and include the correct booking reference.

Send proof if needed

For bank transfers, send the bank confirmation so the payment can be traced.

Receive confirmation

We will acknowledge the payment after it is received and matched to your booking.

Services are secured

The team proceeds with supplier bookings and provides updated confirmation, subject to availability.

Never pay a changed bank account without independently verifying it with us first.

Payment acknowledgement

A payment acknowledgement confirms that funds have been received.

Booking confirmation

Final booking confirmation is issued after the relevant hotels, cruise, transportation and other suppliers reconfirm the requested services.

Security First

How to pay safely

Payment fraud often relies on urgency, changed account details or requests for confidential information. These checks help protect both the traveler and the booking.

Before you pay

  • Check that the amount, currency, travel dates and booking reference match your quotation.
  • Use only the payment link or bank details supplied through an official Book Egypt Travel communication channel.
  • If bank details change, verify the change using a previously known phone number or WhatsApp conversation.
  • Be cautious of unexpected urgency, spelling changes in the company name or requests to pay an unrelated individual.
  • Keep your invoice, payment receipt and confirmation together with your travel documents.

Information we will not request

  • Your complete card number by email or WhatsApp.
  • Your card PIN, online-banking password or one-time security code.
  • Remote access to your phone, computer or banking application.
  • Payment to a new account without a written invoice and direct verification.

If a payment request feels unusual, stop and verify before sending any money.

Card authorization and failed payments: a card payment may require additional verification from the issuing bank. If the payment is declined, contact your bank before trying repeatedly. A failed or pending card transaction does not confirm the booking until the payment provider reports it as successful and the funds are received.

Changes and Refunds

Cancellation terms and refund handling

Payments are applied to the services reserved for your trip. Cancellation charges reflect the time remaining before arrival and the commitments already made to suppliers.

Cancellation notice Standard charge
61 days or more before arrival 20% of the total booking value
60 to 31 days before arrival 35% of the total booking value
30 to 15 days before arrival 50% of the total booking value
14 days or fewer before arrival 100% of the total booking value

Important conditions

  • Your confirmed quotation and booking terms take priority if they specify different or stricter supplier conditions.
  • Domestic flights, special tickets, some hotels, cruises, dahabiyas and holiday-period services may be non-refundable from the time of booking.
  • Cancellation must be submitted in writing and becomes effective when acknowledged by Book Egypt Travel.
  • Approved refunds are returned, where practical, through the original payment route and may be reduced by non-refundable charges or bank costs.
  • Bank and card processing times are outside our direct control; refund timing can vary by provider and country.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance from the time of booking. The policy should be suitable for your nationality, destination, medical needs, planned activities, cancellation risk and travel disruption.

Always read the specific payment and cancellation terms attached to your quotation.
