Day by day

  1. 01 Day 1: Arrival in Aswan & Nile Cruise Embarkation

Upon arrival in Aswan, meet your professional Egyptologist guide and begin your 4-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor with visits to the city’s most important attractions.

    Aswan High Dam

Visit the impressive Aswan High Dam, constructed between 1960 and 1970. This remarkable engineering project helped control the annual flooding of the Nile, increased Egypt’s agricultural capacity, and generated hydroelectric power.

    The Unfinished Obelisk

Continue to the ancient granite quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk. Commissioned during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut, it would have been the largest obelisk ever erected had it been completed. The site provides fascinating insight into the stone-cutting techniques used by ancient Egyptian craftsmen.

    Philae Temple

Travel by motorboat to Agilkia Island and explore the magnificent Philae Temple, dedicated primarily to Isis, the goddess of love, healing, and motherhood. The temple complex was carefully relocated as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign to protect it from the rising waters created by the Aswan High Dam.

After completing your Aswan sightseeing tour, transfer to your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise for embarkation. Enjoy lunch and dinner onboard, followed by an overnight stay in Aswan.

  2. 02 Day 2: Kom Ombo Temple

Enjoy breakfast onboard while sailing along the beautiful Nile toward Kom Ombo.

    Kom Ombo Temple

Visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, an extraordinary double temple constructed during the Ptolemaic period. One side was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god associated with fertility and the Nile, while the other honored Haroeris, or Horus the Elder.

The temple features twin entrances, halls, sanctuaries, and chapels. You can also see fascinating reliefs depicting ancient medical instruments and visit the nearby Crocodile Museum.

Return to your Nile cruise and enjoy lunch and dinner while sailing toward Edfu. Overnight onboard.

  3. 03 Day 3: Edfu Temple & Sailing to Luxor

join your guide for a visit to one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temples.

    Edfu Temple

Explore the magnificent Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. Constructed between 237 and 57 BC, it is one of the largest and most complete temples from the Greco-Roman period.

Its beautifully preserved walls depict important religious ceremonies and the legendary battle between Horus and Seth. Your Egyptologist guide will explain the temple’s history, architecture, and mythological scenes.

Return to the cruise for Breakfast lunch and continue sailing toward Luxor. Enjoy dinner and spend your final night onboard.

  4. 04 Day 4: Luxor West and East Banks

Enjoy breakfast onboard before checking out of your Nile cruise. Meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin exploring the remarkable archaeological treasures of Luxor.

    Valley of the Kings

Discover the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs. The valley contains more than 60 tombs decorated with colorful scenes and sacred texts intended to guide the kings through the afterlife.

Your standard admission ticket includes entry to three available royal tombs. Entry to special tombs, such as those of Tutankhamun and Seti I, may require additional tickets.

    Temple of Hatshepsut

Visit the spectacular mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Built into the limestone cliffs of Luxor’s West Bank, the temple is famous for its elegant terraces, impressive colonnades, and remarkable reliefs illustrating important events from the queen’s reign.

    Colossi of Memnon

Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These impressive quartzite statues once stood at the entrance to the king’s vast mortuary temple.

After exploring the West Bank, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Luxor’s East Bank.

    Karnak Temple Complex

Explore the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest ancient religious site in Egypt. Developed over approximately 2,000 years, the complex was principally dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Discover its monumental gateways, towering obelisks, sacred lake, impressive statues, and the breathtaking Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns.

    Luxor Temple

Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to the beautiful Luxor Temple. Primarily constructed by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple was dedicated to the renewal of kingship and played an important role in the ancient Opet Festival.

At the end of your tour, you will be transferred to your hotel, Luxor Airport, or another preferred location in Luxor, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable 4-day, 3-night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor.
