A message from our founder
I am Mahmoud Nour, founder of Book Egypt Travel, a licensed Egyptologist and a professional guide working in Egypt since 2007.
I grew up in Luxor, surrounded by the temples, tombs and stories that inspired me to study Egyptology. Years of guiding travelers across Egypt taught me something equally important: a memorable journey depends not only on what guests see, but also on how comfortable, understood and cared for they feel.
That is why I founded Book Egypt Travel. My role is to turn your interests into a well-paced journey and to personally review the details that shape your experience—from the hotel and Nile cruise to the guide, vehicle, timing and daily flow.
Egypt should never feel like a rushed list of monuments. It should come alive through its history, people, landscapes, food and unexpected moments. My team and I want you to enjoy those moments with confidence, knowing that someone local is taking care of the details.
