Its building is a giant tilted disc of glass and granite, inscribed with characters from 120 writing systems.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the main reading room rises through eleven terraces under a glass roof, and the complex also houses the Antiquities Museum, the Manuscripts Museum, a planetarium and several research centres.<\/p>\n<h2>What you will see<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The main reading room and its glass roof.<\/li>\n<li>The Antiquities Museum and the Manuscripts Museum.<\/li>\n<li>The Sadat Museum and temporary exhibitions.<\/li>\n<li>The planetarium and the Aswan granite exterior wall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Practical tips<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Guided tours are included in the main library ticket.<\/li>\n<li>Photography rules vary by area \u2014 check at the entrance.<\/li>\n<li>The library is closed on some public holidays;
