Cancellation
Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Book Egypt Travel, we understand that plans may change. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to ensure proper documentation and confirmation of your request.
In case of cancellation, the following scale of charges will apply:
| Cancellation Period | Cancellation Fee |
| From the date of booking until 61 days before arrival | 20% of the total tour price |
| Between 60 and 30 days before arrival | 35% of the total tour price |
| Between 29 and 15 days before arrival | 50% of the total tour price |
| Between 14 and 7 days before arrival | 75% of the total tour price |
| Between 7 and 1 days before arrival | 100% of the total tour price |
All cancellation charges are calculated based on the total confirmed tour price.
Domestic Flights
For tours that include domestic flights within Egypt, additional cancellation fees may apply according to the airline’s cancellation and refund policy. In some cases, airline tickets may be non-refundable or subject to penalties.
If a cancellation is made, any airline-imposed fees will be added to the applicable tour cancellation charges.
Important Notes
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.
- Bank processing fees and transaction charges are non-refundable.
- No refund will be provided for no-shows or unused services after the tour has commenced.
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.

Cancellation Policy for Christmas, New Year & Easter Periods
This policy applies to bookings made during the Peak Season Periods:
- Christmas & New Year Season: 20 December – 31 January
- Easter Season: 25 March – 30 April
Due to high demand and special arrangements during these periods, stricter cancellation terms apply.
If you cancel your trip during these seasons, the following cancellation charges will be applied:

| From booking date until 61 days before arrival | 25% of the total tour price |
| Between 60 and 31 days before arrival | 50% of the total tour price |
| Between 30 and 15 days before arrival | 75% of the total tour price |
| Between 14 and 1 day before arrival | 100% of the total tour price |
All percentages are calculated based on the total confirmed tour price.
Domestic Flights
For tours that include domestic flights within Egypt, additional cancellation fees may apply according to the airline’s cancellation and refund policy. Domestic flight tickets may be non-refundable or subject to airline-imposed penalties.
If a cancellation occurs, any airline charges will be added to the applicable tour cancellation fees.
