Philae Temple
Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis, was built during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras. Famous for its elegant reliefs, it was relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from flooding. It stands today as a symbol of ancient faith and preservation.
The Unfinished Obelisk
The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan, abandoned due to a crack, was intended to be the largest ever at 42 meters and over 1,000 tons. It reveals the craftsmanship and methods of ancient Egyptian stoneworkers.
Aswan High Dam
The Aswan High Dam, completed in 1970, controls Nile floods, generates power, and creates Lake Nasser. It advanced Egypt’s development but required relocating ancient sites like Abu Simbel.
After finishing your tour exploring the Aswan Sites you will get back to the boat and will get rest.
Lunch & Dinner will be onboard.
Around 5:00 AM, the boat will start sailing on the Nile River. At 6:00 AM, you will enjoy breakfast on board, and at around 7:30 AM you will visit Kom Ombo Temple.
Kom Ombo Temple
Built during the Ptolemaic period, Kom Ombo is a unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. It is known for its symmetrical design, ancient medical and surgical carvings, and the fascinating museum of mummified crocodiles, offering insight into ancient Egyptian religion and daily life.
After the visit, you will return to the boat and continue sailing.
Around 3:00 PM, you will meet our guide and begin your tour by taking a horse and carriage ride to visit:
Edfu Temple
Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, Edfu Temple is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Built in the Ptolemaic period, it features grand columns and detailed reliefs depicting Horus’s victory over Set, providing a vivid look into ancient Egyptian religion and architecture.
After finishing the tour, you will return to your ship by the same carriage and have time to relax while enjoying the riverbanks and the most impressive scenery along the Nile. You will arrive in Luxor in the evening.
After breakfast, you will meet our tour guide who will escort you to one of the most impressive archaeological areas in Egypt.
The Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings is home to more than 65 royal tombs dating back to Egypt’s New Kingdom, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. Carved deep into the desert rock and richly decorated with vivid wall paintings, these tombs offer fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife and their remarkable artistic heritage.
The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut
Dramatically carved into the cliffs of Deir El Bahari, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut honors one of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaohs. Built between 1473–1458 BC, the temple’s elegant terraces, colonnades, and perfect symmetry reflect divine devotion and her enduring legacy.
The Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues, standing about 18 meters high, representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Erected around 1350 BC to guard his mortuary temple, these iconic monuments later became associated with the Greek hero Memnon and continue to symbolize Egypt’s royal power and grandeur.
After completing the visits, you will return to the Nile cruise for lunch and dinner on board, followed by time to relax and enjoy the journey.
After breakfast, you will check out from the Nile cruise and meet our tour guide, who will escort you to one of the most impressive archaeological areas in Egypt.
Karnak Temple Complex
Located in Luxor, the vast Karnak Temple Complex represents more than 2,000 years of construction by successive pharaohs. Home to the sacred Precinct of Amun-Re and the magnificent Hypostyle Hall with its towering columns, Karnak stands as a powerful symbol of ancient Egypt’s religious devotion and architectural brilliance.
Luxor Temple
Built around 1400 BC, Luxor Temple was dedicated to the renewal of kingship and played a central role in the Opet Festival. Expanded by renowned pharaohs such as Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple’s colossal statues, elegant colonnades, and atmospheric illumination highlight Egypt’s spiritual and architectural heritage.
After completing your guided tour of the East Bank sites, you will enjoy a lunch break, followed by a transfer to your next destination.
